Within a “one-piece” case with beveled glass panels on all sides and with hinged door; the white enamel dial has roman chapters, gilt half hour markers and blued-steel hands within a gilt surround; The movement has a well made silvered platform lever escapement, strikes the hours and half-hours on a gong, and repeats the hours at will by means of a button on top of the case.
Complete with its original numbered gilt winding key, and traveling case covered in dark maroon diamond-scored leather lined in maroon velvet.
